I had a great stay at Plaza Sao Rafael. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The gym and sauna were a nice bonus. I especially enjoyed the breakfast, which had a good variety of options. The old style decoration in the room added a charming touch.

The hotel needs urgently a complete renovation. No safe in room. One side of the hotel is very noisy until 21:00. Worst 5 star hotel so far.

Late checkout was free free wireless in room but unreliable

I also appreciated the comfortable sitting area and in-room safe. The hotel facilities were impressive, with a sauna, swimming pool, jacuzzi, and fitness center available for guests to enjoy. The free Wi-Fi was also a bonus, allowing me to stay connected during my stay.

nice staff by and large but very little English spoken. Room was gloomy and only had black-out curtains. Needed re-furbishing.

During my New Year's stay in this hotel, I loved the helpful staff who offered amazing service. the hotel had a great location near museums and attractions. A daily breakfast was included with ample food and the room was clean and well furnished.

The surrounding area was unpleasant and not well maintained. the air conditioning in the room was too cold and there was no safe available for valuables.

The location of the hotel is great, just a few minutes away from cheap stores and local tourist sites such as the museum. the convention center just across the street is also a plus. the rooms are comfortable and clean, and some have a nice view of the city.

The service leaves a lot to be desired, as several guests have mentioned.

Great rooftop pool with stunning views and a friendly staff that was always willing to help. The hotel's location in the city center was very convenient and allowed me to easily explore the city's attractions. The breakfast options were varied and delicious.

The rooms were very outdated and in need of some serious renovation. The beds were uncomfortable and the plumbing was noisy, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.
